The way to salvation in Jesus Christ

The gospel is the most beautiful message there is. It is God’s own outstretched hand to a person who longs for peace, forgiveness, and a new life. The Bible says that «God demonstrates his own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us» (Romans 5:8). That means God didn’t wait until we were strong, clean, or successful—He came to us in the midst of our weakness.

Throughout the Bible we see that man could never save himself. We struggle, fall, and fail, but God sent His Son to do what we could not.

«For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life» (John 3:16).

Here we encounter the core of the gospel: Salvation is a gift, not an achievement. It is received by faith.

When a person turns to God, he does not encounter a hard hand, but an open embrace. Jesus says:

«Whoever comes to me I will never cast out» (John 6:37)

He knows our wounds, our darkness, and our longing, and yet He calls us close. The Bible explains that «if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved» (Romans 10:9). Faith carries us forward, and confession puts into words what the heart has received.

Salvation is not just a decision, but the beginning of a new life. God gives us a new heart, a new peace, and a new direction.

«If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new» (2 Corinthians 5:17).

When the gospel finds a place in the heart, a person begins to live in God's love, and the Holy Spirit testifies within that we belong to Him.

If you, the reader, feel a call in your heart, a warmth or a longing for God, know that it is Jesus who draws you close. He stands at the door and knocks, and He wants to save you and fill your life with His grace. The Bible says:

«Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved» (Romans 10:13).

That applies to you too – right now.
