The Bible Teacher
Harald Sørmo Holstad has a background that testifies to God's profound transformation. After many years of substance abuse and mental challenges, he had a life-changing encounter with Jesus in 2003, which led him to the Evangeliesenteret that same year. There began a process of restoration, equipping, and maturation that has shaped both his faith and his ministry.
Later, Harald studied health and gained work experience in substance abuse and psychiatry. He has served as an evangelist and has been involved in the establishment and leadership of a church. Today, he teaches at the Evangeliesenterets Bible School, where he and his wife Hanne guide people who want to grow in faith and learn God's Word.
In his teaching, Harald places less emphasis on end-time speculation, and more on what he experiences the Lord calling his people to do now: to live out faith in everyday life, serve with gifts of grace, and walk in the works God has prepared.
He wants to contribute clear, down-to-earth and biblical guidance into the life Jesus describes in John 14:12.
