Who are we?
We are an organization for believers who share a strong need and love for the gospel. We live in different parts of the country, but we stand together in the desire to see Norway for Jesus. What we have in common is the desire to see people met by God's love, raised up in faith in Jesus Christ and led into a living communion with Him as Lord in their lives.
We are not affiliated with any particular church denomination, but want to walk together in prayer and work with everyone who has a heart to reach people with the gospel.
With love, boldness and respect, we go out into the squares and streets to bear witness to Jesus and meet them where they are.

Purpose
Norway for Jesus has one clear vision: to win Norway for Jesus Christ. We want to see people saved, met by God's love and grow in a real, living life with the Lord. The gospel is still "the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16), and we will lift this message up in love, boldness and truth.
Our work should be visible both online and out among people on the streets and squares. Many people never enter a church, and therefore we go where they are, as Jesus himself did.
Our Facebook group will be a gathering place for faith and testimony. Here we want people from all over Norway to be able to share their stories of what God has done in their lives – both in writing, as audio files and as videos. Testimonies ignite hope. When someone shares what Jesus has done for them, others can have faith that He can do the same in their lives.
«For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy» (Rev. 19:10).
A central part of our calling is to make the gospel accessible to all. That is why we want to share the word of God and give tracts to everyone. We believe in the power of the word of God, that «the word of God is living and active» (Hebrews 4:12), and that even a single tract of God’s word can plant a seed that sprouts for salvation.
This is an organization where all who feel they want to stand in this calling are warmly welcomed. We want representatives all over the country – people who want to be a local voice, a light and a testimony where they live. We want to equip and support each other, stand together in prayer and share the burdens and joys that come with ministry. Jesus says:
«For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them» (Matthew 18:20).
We believe in the power of a people who pray and who stand together in love.
Norway needs the gospel. Not as a tradition, but as an encounter with the living Jesus – He who says:
«Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest» (Matthew 11:28).
We will carry out this hope, in grace and truth, with faith that Jesus continues to seek and save that which is lost (Luke 19:10).

Appendix: Faith and values that lay the foundation for Norway for Jesus
Biblical basis
Norway for Jesus holds the entire Bible – the Old and New Testaments – to be the inspired, authoritative, and infallible word of God, and the supreme guide for faith, life, and ministry. The Bible is the basis for all preaching, teaching, practice, and evaluation in the organization.
God – triune in essence
We believe in one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons:
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
These three are one in essence, will, and glory..
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, true God and true man.
He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died vicariously on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and lives today as Lord and Savior.
We confess Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives, and as the only hope of salvation for humanity.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.
No one can be saved through their own works, religious achievement, or moral improvement, but only through repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in the world and in the life of the believer today.
The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, gives new birth, equips for service, leads in truth, and empowers to live a life to the glory of God.
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are given to build up the body of Christ and to witness to the power of the gospel through preaching, healing, deliverance, and love in action.
The Church – the Body of Christ
We believe that all born-again Christians constitute the body of Christ on earth today, of which Jesus Christ himself is the head.
The church's calling is to be light and salt, to live in love and truth, and to reach all people with the gospel of Jesus Christ for salvation, deliverance, and healing.
Baptism
We believe that baptism is an act of obedience based on personal faith and confession of Jesus Christ as Lord.
Baptism testifies to the new life in Christ and identification with His death and resurrection.
Cohabitation and marriage
We believe that marriage was instituted by God and that the form of life that God has approved is marriage between one man and one woman.
This is understood as the framework for cohabitation, family, and sexual intercourse, as the Bible teaches.
Life and successor
We believe that the Christian life is a life of following Jesus Christ.
This involves a life characterized by repentance, sanctification, love, humility, and a willingness to serve God and people.
We seek to live in accordance with the ethical and moral guidance of the Bible, in dependence on God's grace.
Mission and calling
We believe that Jesus' mission commission applies to all believers today.
Norway for Jesus is called to preach the gospel boldly and clearly in public spaces, and to meet people with truth, grace, and practical love.
Our desire is to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ, be set free, and experience the healing power of God.
Values
Norway for Jesus wants to live and work in line with the following values:
• Biblical faithfulness
• Love and respect for all people
• Humility and servant leadership
• Boldness in testimony and preaching
• Responsibility, honesty and transparency
All work should be done in the name of Jesus, for the glory of God, and in love for people.

Our prayer and our calling
That Norway will see Jesus.
That people will be met by His love.
That lives will be transformed by the power of the gospel.
If this calls to your heart, you are welcome to join us. Together we can reach Norway for Jesus!
